Satan doesn't waste his time going around trying to tempt people into commiting crimes or any so-called "sins." He gets blamed for such things by those who only judge by their own bigoted, biased and ignorant standards of superstition. In fact, the very concept of "sin" is nothing more than a subjective opinion of some bronze age goat herders who inserted their ideas into scriptures. There is no evidence that those specific dogmas represent any absolute morality nor was it a legitimate concept to begin with.
Awareness of morality is inherent, brought about by our consciousness. Most of us have empathy and can mentally put ourselves in another person’s shoes. This is basically where the "golden rule" comes from. We can consider the outcome of our actions and determine if it's worth it instead of using rigid dogmatic beliefs. |
